Story of OLRPHT

I was cs player, the things I enjoyed most was... can you guess it? winning? headshots? being better than other players? The thing I enjoyed most when I used to knife people; and a simple 'hahaha' was not enough to express my laughter.

So one day I combined all of the internet slangs and made a line "OMFG! LOL! ROFL! PMSL! HOLY SHIT! THAT WAS EPIC!" And from that day I spent day using this sentence in every game and then later I brought it to facebook. The day I created the page there were like 10 likes.

I used to hunt for funny images and share/upload these images on my profile. But later I thought about it and felt only a few people in my list are viewing my pics. So I started uploading it on my page.

Later the likes kept on increasing with HARD WORK, yes well if you may check there are many pages who share funny images but they have hardly few likes. And if you check the pages with many likes you will notice that they are very regular with uploading images and they put up the best ones.

Sharing funny images is not the point here, we all are busy, we all have other work to do. Sometimes people share for like 2 months then stop sharing because they lose interest. But you have to be very regular and keep searching the internet.

Then it comes to choosing the right people who want to work with you and think like you! My motto to share images on the page is not for fame, money or some advertisement purpose. I have my movie making company whose fb page has less than 1000 likes; I could have advertised it but I didnt, rather I wont.

My motto is to make people happy and indirectly some force in nature will give me by blessings which I deserve for bringing joy to some online folks just by few efforts. I love humor and cracking jokes from time to time, ask any of my close friends about my jokes; its like I was born to make people happy :D

So finding people who will upload images with you should have a very similar thinking like you and finding someone on the internet is very hard. But I have assembled a crew of capable and awesome people who upload images on the page. If you cant find people who have same aim like you it wont work; and your aim can be anything, money, fame etc

There are somethings which make you feel alive, you maybe just like a vegetable; you are living but you may not feel alive at times, there are somethings (like books, friends, love, hobby, games) which make you feel alive. This is one of things which makes me feel alive, if you take it out of my life some part of me will be dead.

Thank you for reading my words of wisdom hope it inspired you to start your own facebook page, follow my personal facebook page: www.facebook.com/ifumd where I keep sharing the stuff I post on my blog. I also like drawing cartoons.

Queen vs Queen - Cartoon Chess Piece

Marshall Swindle Chess Move

“We cannot resist the fascination of sacrifice, since a passion for sacrifices is part of a Chessplayer’s nature”
-Rudolf Spielman

Yes, chess is all about making sacrifices to win. I am not a very good chess player, but I love playing chess alot. This is a blog about the Marshall Swindle Chess Move in which the player named 'Frank Marshal' sacrificed his queen and he won the match. This move is also known as "shower of gold move".

“Anyone can sacrifice a Queen. The trick is getting away with it.”
-Arthur Shaw (from the movie Tower Heist)

Instead of the chess numbers and letters language; I have made images of the moves just to explain you guys(hurray me:)

So what is the move? The move is Qg3

Now if you notice the queen can be captured by 3 different ways and still white loses the game.

Capture queen with Hxg3. White plays Ne2, checkmate.

Capture queen with fxg3. White plays Ne2, check. Black plays Kh1. Then Rxf, checkmate.

Capture queen with Qxg3. Then Ne2+ Kh1 Nxg3+ and Black will keep his extra piece.

What if white does not capture the queen and tries to escape the Qh2 checkmate? Then Nh1+ Kh1 Qh2, checkmate.

And this was an fantastic move played by Frank Marshal. So the moral of the story is sacrifice your queen in the right manner and you will win.

Now give me a like! Making all those images was a very time consuming job:D

OP is a faggot - Internet Meme Phrase

Tags

Well, I am a usual visitor of 4chan and I love keeping knowledge about memes.  "OP is a faggot" is a internet meme/phrase which I use sometimes but people dont get it :| and it spoils the joke completely. So I blogged about it.

The first thing you have to know is that who the hell is OP? Well OP is 'Original poster' in other words the 'thread creator' in internet forums or on facebook is the person who posts a picture\content.

"OP is a faggot" is used when a lame/stupid thing is posted by the OP. People also use it as a method of trolling. It is also used when the picture/content put up is repeated or very common. So now that you have learned what it really is start using it xD

Some examples:
"Hello faggot police, its OP again!"
"Dear diary, today OP was a fag"
"OP; a wild faggot appeared"

Derivative:
People also do a lot of reposting from 9gag. So to troll them usually 'OP is 9fag' or 'OP is 9fagger' is used.
GG guys have fun.

Now that you spread the word, gimme some likes !

Epic video - 'Get by' Music video by Ian Robertson

Tags

Hey guys, as you know I love creativity and I would like to blog about the music video of 'Delta Heavy - Get By', directed by Ian Robertson. The video is all about creativity and hardwork put together, with some good music. The video is all about butchering toys and classic games like scrabble, chess, guess who etc. And the toys and games kinda dance with the beat that makes the video even more lively; the toys act like the equaliser.

Some great facts about the video:
  • 11,008 photographs were taken for the film.
  • 3,184 photographs made the final cut.
  • 80 Rubik's Cubes were hired for the shoot.
  • 10 hours to animate 18 frames of the Rubik's Cube equaliser.
  • 148 Subbuteo men hired for the shoot.
  • 99 Red Balloons by Nena is the vinyl record in the opening sequence.
  • 160 pick-up sticks are equalised.
  • 4 hours to shoot the hungry hippos being minced.
  • 12 photographs per second appear in the film.
  • 6 hours to plan and shoot the camera dolly in on the minced Subbuteo.
  • 32 days were spent animating.

Oh my god, thats some hard work put in video, isn't it?
Well check out the video, its pretty good.

CS Movie Making - A short blog

Tags

Hey guys I am IfuM, founder of 5ivetwo Movie Making. I would like to write a blog on Cs movie making. Its a short blog but I may write a full blog if people want me to.

How did I start movie making?
I started movie making when I had got my computer back in 2004 when people used to make anime videos. I used to download videos from youtube and then make then using Windows Movie Maker. All of those movie got deleted as I remade my youtube account.
I started CS movie making back in August 2010. I used windows movie maker for my first 3 movies then switched to Song Vegas 9.

Software and other pre-movie making process:
Software is something very important in Cs movie making, I mean to say without the right software you cannot make a good movie.
Software required for Cs movie making:
- Video editor [I use Vegas 9, at present]
- HLAE (Half-Life Advanced Effects)
- VirtualDub
Other things needed:
- A good and fast PC, I went into trauma once when it gave me rendering issues.
- Lots of HDD space, Virtual Dub uncompressed clips used a lot of space.
- Creativity, last but not the least.

Video editor:
Well use anything which you are comfortable with, remember lots of awesome old school Cs movies were made with very old softwares. And according to me all the video editing softwares are just the same, not much difference you just need a little skill to use them.

HLAE:
Important if you want to record sound for Cs clips.
Download HLAE [FREE]: http://adf.ly/8j1Rh

VirtualDub:
HLAE makes images and an audio file which can be made into a video clip by this software.
Tips: Do not use fraps, if you want to make a good cs movie.
Virtual Dub Download [FREE]: http://adf.ly/8j1xi

Aim of the movie:
Always keep in mind the aim of the Cs movie, whether its a fragmovie or an edit.
Fragmovie usually shows frags of players so the effects should be minimum or none. Edit is something in which the frags matter the least and effects and your creativity matters most.

FPS to be recorded?
Well, I would say that the fps which you choose depends on the movie and the clip. I do not waste time in recording all clips at high fps.
My own fps logic
POV (first person mode) clip:
On your use, if you want slow motion high fps. I usually record high fps for awp shots or deagle shots. I record minimum 60 fps and maximum 300 fps for POV's
Campaths:
I use low fps. They just come and go in the movie. Campaths proves your cameraman skills. Use all angles and remember to zoom in using the mirv tool.
I record minimum 30 fps and maximum 90fps for campaths.

Soundtrack:
The most important and annoying part, because youtube gives a lot of problems on copyright songs. Also your sound track should go with the song, if you want a sync movie dubstep would be the best.

Want more CS Movie making blogposts?
That's all I would like to write for now. However if people I get a good feedback on this blogpost, or people request me to make a full blog on Cs movie making, I would make an individual blog post on CS movie making covering all points from recording to rendering.

If this blogpost even helped you 1% please give a like below it would mean a lot to me.

List of cheese I have tasted [Tasting cheese hobby]

Hey guys, as you know various microorganism's and methods can be used to make different types of cheese and wine.

There are around 500 different varieties of cheese recognized by the International Dairy Federation.

Wine is prohibited for me, so I cannot taste it [I am a strong follower of my religion :D ]
So I have made a new hobby of tasting different types of cheeses.
I have listed some of the cheeses I have tasted. I have also listed some of the particular feature about them.

Mozzarella Cheese
It is also know as string cheese. Mozzarella cheese is made from water buffalo milk hence it is high in fat. Country of origin is Italy. This cheese is not aged like most cheeses.
My own comments: After heating the cheese becomes sticky, mostly used in pizza(I think so). I had once used in in cooking noodles, never ever do that, it was the worst noodles I ever made. Just sprinkle it on your cooked noodles while serving, never cook it with mozzarella.

Chèvre Cheese
My favorite cheese. The cheese is made from goat milk. And the one which I had tasted was ash covered. It is usually made in France, leading producer of goat cheese.
My own comments: Little sour, tastes slightly like curd, it is one of my favorite. Best cheese I have tasted yet.

Feta Cheese
A type of cheese mostly made in Greece. Usually used in salads and stuff.
My own comments: Didn't like it that much. Tastes a little salty with a slight curd flavor.

 Cheddar Cheese
The cheese originates from the village of Cheddar in Somerset, South West England. A very common type of cheese, you may have tasted it.
My own comments: I like it pretty much, used it for every day breakfast, and finished off the whole can :D

Emmental Cheese
Emmental cheese is from Switzerland. The cheese which is usually shown in the famous cartoon show 'Tom & Jerry'. This cheese has holes in it, which are known as eyes. The carbon dioxide generated during its making is responsible for its eye formation.
My own comments: The cheese is simply amazing. It has its own distinctive taste. People at my house say that Swiss cheese was the best cheese they ever tasted but I still think its not better than Chèvre Cheese.

Other Cheese tasted:
Blue Cheese (tasted)
Edam Cheese (tasted)
Halloumi

Webterview with Ate Gaming Katalyst

Ate gaming is one of the best gaming clans in India. This is an interview with the manager of Ate gaming, Karthik Rao.

How did you get your name ‘Katalyst’? Tell us about it.
I used to like Chemistry subject during my Pre-University. And there was “Catalyst” used in Chemical reactions & I tweaked it to get my nick “Katalyst”.

How did you get into gaming?
A friend of mine took me to a LAN center during my school days. I played NFS II which I still would love to play anytime.  I then moved to few other games, Commandos was one of my favorite game titles back then.  I was not gaming much. I preferred indoor / outdoor sports to gaming. But then my best buddy introduced me to Counterstrike 1.6. We used to play a map called cs_india which was crazy fun since none amongst our friend circle knew the game that well. I later got addicted to Counterstrike 1.6.

What are your favorite games and consoles?
eSport titles like Counterstrike 1.6 / DotA / FIFA / NFS are my favourite titles. Then there are Commandos / Mafia / Hitman. Not really into Consoles since I don’t own any, But I would shift to console shortly. I like both Microsoft XBOX 360 (+Kinect) & Sony PlayStation 3. I would like to game Street Fighter / Tekken / Gears of War / Halo on consoles. I have over 30 game titles on my Steam, but I always open CS 1.6 when I find time.

How did you meet the ‘Ate gaming’ crew/team?
Back in 2006, I used to interact with Amar ‘rey’ Ratnam, who I happen to meet online while playing CS 1.6. We became online buddies & then I proposed if we could build an organization more like SK Gaming. I met Amar in Mumbai. He then gave me the ‘Bad’ news that Games2Win offered a contract to the team, which meant that my plans had to be kept on hold. Later in 2009, Ate Gaming had no support. eSport events was almost dead with recession hit industry. I wanted to resume my plans; But Amar had left the team. I started interacting with Mikhail ‘Rshkhn’ Mehra, to whom I proposed the same idea. He agreed. We later met for the first at Rush Gaming in Hyderabad in 2010.

What got you interested in the ‘Ate gaming’ manager post?
It so happened that I was one of the lucky Indian gamer to play Team fnatic. They were at Bangalore for inauguration of a Reliance Web World, where I got a chance to meet them & game with them. I & my friends made a team to play against them. We lost no surprises. I could see the difference in my game & their game. I lost motivation to game on a serious level. I knew neither me nor my friends had time to practice & improve our skills. But I love eSports culture. I want to see an Indian team reach to the level of International organizations & hence I thought of supporting Ate Gaming & help them reach the same. I approached them & created the ‘Manager’ spot myself.

Describe the ‘Ate gaming’ crew/team.
I have a small crew to manage the backend. A few already know that my polish friend Marek ‘malydok’ Pietrzak takes care of the graphics. When I approached few Indian artists (who were a part of gaming communities), they refused to be a part of Ate Gaming. They were looking for benefits from start. I later approached Marek who I met through Garena. He has been working voluntarily from the start. Also, Adarsh ‘showsTopper’ Chandran does few frag videos when he finds time.  Without the support of these two, I don’t think I would be able to keep the Ate Gaming community active. I owe these two a lot. I would say the Indian eSport Community should thank them for their services   Thanks a lot Marek / Adarsh.

Regarding the team, I would say the CS 1.6 squad is one of the best. We have a balanced team. Ben ‘r4iD Varghese being the captain & the motivation for the team, Ritesh ‘RiTz’ Shah a clutch rounds expert, Pranay ‘Wuzz’ Bhatia with his AWP & them being backed strong by Kunal ‘PeXXeR’ Bhatia & Akshay ‘KappA’ Sinkar. It’s a mix of experience with young talent which is giving us good results.

Naveen ‘AAA’ Uraon is one who I think deserves much more than what he gets right now. He is a true fighter. I wouldn’t be surprised if he wins some International event in the near future.

Sagar ‘lOvEsX’ Vyas is also an upcoming talent. Although, we don’t think that he has reached the peak, perhaps in the near future he would prove his worth in our organization. We have lot of expectations from him.

We have a COD / DotA team. Our idea is to grow the COD / DotA as big as CS 1.6 in the near future which is why we have a squad for the same titles.

‘Ate gaming’ is known to be the best gaming team in India, how did ‘Ate gaming’ achieve it?
We have roles decided. Management has a role. Players have a role. It’s a 3D Role
Management: Discuss – Decide – Deliver
Player: Desire – Dedication - Discipline

What are your further plans for the team?
We are looking to make Ate Gaming a strong organization. We need more teams / organizations like Ate Gaming. Only then will eSport Culture grow in India. Our goal is to establish eSport Culture in India. If the community supports us, it would be faster, if not we would require more time. But definitely, we will achieve our goals. We are confident & equally motivated. You shall see few more sponsors added in the near future.

Favorite music genre?
Trance

Your team has achieved a lot; you may have many haters as well, what would you like to say to them?
Criticise more!

What motivates you the most?
Criticism

Who would you like to credit for all your success?
Everyone has contributed. Our management, player squads & you Indian eSport Community members. Without your support, I don’t think we would stand where we are right now. Also, I would like to thank Cooler Master & their Indian team for supporting us strong in recent times.

Any final shout outs?
I would like to thank Cooler Master & Cooler Master India Team for their continued support. With their support, we plan to reach our goals.

Message to Community Members: United we stand – Divided we fall. Indian eSport community has to understand this. Support the right initiatives, only then would you see eSport Culture grow in India.

Finally I would like to thank Karthik for the interview. I hope that Indian gamers are inspired and motivated, peace out.

It was my destiny and not a regular place at my lab

I would like to talk about the place where I always used to do my practicals. So, my first partner in second year was Farheen and we had got the place which was extreme end of the table of the lab. She didnt like sitting at the extreme end so I used to sit there. After that my second year second-semester partner was Nikhil and he was the same, he didnt like to sit on the end. So the full second year I sat on the corner rotating from 1st row to last row sitting at the extreme corner of the lab.

Third year same story happened to me, my partner was Rutuja and we had again got the extreme end of the lab. Not only that my AC (applied component) practicals, Asawari  was my partner and same place we had got and I used to sit on the end again. And so the whole third year too, I sat on the extreme end doing my practicals. So it was basically two years now sitting on that exact same place. Well story does not end here. At my AC practical exams the seating is according to the seat numbers and guess what? I got the same place at the extreme end  :D

Not only that 1 week later I had my main practical exams, the seating was according to roll numbers again. My classmate before me had got two hall ticket numbers and due to that I had got the exact same place at the extreme end of my lab.

Long story short I always performed at that end of the lab for 2 years! I never really realized it the whole year. And in my vacations it just came into my mind and decided to blog about it.

I will never forget my lab place at the extreme end, which I would call it as my destiny performing practicals over there the whole 2 years of my life.

So in conclusion 6 times the class lab partners/exam seats were shuffled and all 28 people in my class had got different places every time except me, got always the corner of the lab! That place was more like my legacy then just an ordinary lab work place!

CS 1.6 - A part of my life

April 21st 2011 was the day when I left Counter Strike; it’s been 1 year since. I started playing when in 2007 when I was in school. I just wanted to share my experiences good points / bad points since I left CS. Let’s go with the bad points first.

Bad Points:
First and foremost, ADDICTION, it was a different kind of addiction. It was not a kind of addiction in which I would die if I didn’t play CS; it was a kind of addiction in which I had to be better and better every day.  I always felt each and every second other gamers were getting better than me, so I had to keep up by improving my gaming sense and shots . Second, money. Well I must say had to spend a lot of money on it on expensive gaming gears and charges of gaming cafe. Third, time wasted. Hours and hours of gaming, no limits what so ever. I could have done most things like maybe, studying or doing my assignments on time.
Destruction of social life; well not exactly, I was making a new social life which was more internet based. Social life on the internet is also very important now-a-days. #truestory

Good points:
After I completely left CS, some of the habits still remained inside me like staying awake at night for upto 3am. And I usually do my work; movie making, graphic designing, studying at night, so staying up late was not a problem from there on. Concentration for hours was one of the things which I had got from CS. But the most important good point was UNLIMITED FUN; funny moments, funny comments, winning, losing, making new friends from various other states (I even have friends from all around the world). Simple game made in 2003 can give me more fun than most things in the world; trust me that fun is totally worth it.
Joining ‘IGamerZ’ and creating my own movie making company, 5ivetwo Movie Making would not have been possible if I had not played CS. Till today I get friend request on facebook saying “dude, I am your fan, I love your cs movies” NOTHING in this world can give me more pleasure than reading this sentence in my inbox.

Final conclusions:
None, can’t make any conclusions because there are always two sides of the same coin, good stuff comes along with bad stuff. If you are still playing CS or you have stopped playing then you should know that you are lucky that CS is/was a part of your life.

DREAMS Wallaper By IfuM

Hi, so this is my new cinema4d and photoshop wallpaper. Well, I was kinda tired of people posting many cinema4d pictures on facebook because according to me there is 0 edit in that. People just adding 3D text with colors, lights and different camera angles every time. Thats not an edit guys :| that is a just a basic feature of C4D.Anyways I have put a lot of work into this, especially editing the damn giant wheel.
You can see my efforts or watch it just to learn stuff here

Webterview with koopz

Hey guys, as you all know I am a movie maker and a graphic designer I love people with the same interest. And so to share views and thoughts about the same, I have posted a ‘Webterview’ with Oliver Thorsen, founder of Artist Universe.

How did you get your nickname 'koopz'? Tell us about it.
Was searching for fonts one day and found a koobs font, which sounded cool but looked terrible, so I modified it a little, and back then it was 'the real deal' to use z instead of s and shit like that :D

Why did you got interested in movie making and graphic designing ?
I used to photoshop a lot, made banners for virtual soccer sites and such stuff - was hell of fun. My mate introduced me to counter strike, and after playing that for some months I discovered frag movies, and found them interesting to make.

Tell us about your film and graphic designing education?
I'm not educated as a designer nor a visual artist. I'm just an amateur, doing it for fun.

What do you do to make your movie different from other movies?
Try to stay original. I never liked being just like everyone else. I've always been 'that strange kid', no matter what - music taste, clothing, interests and such stuff. People should stop thinking about what people think. Hell, I don't give a fuck if you wear Canada Goose or some unknown brand that’s 10 times cheaper. Respect to the few who are themselves, without getting affected by whats "in" and whats "out".

What kind of movie making  and graphic designing do you like the most?
Started digging the real life- fantasizing mind blowing kind of deal. As long as my productions makes people think, I'm satisfied.

How would you describe your movie making process?
Hectic, unknown and un-organized. I never know where my clips will end. I most likely drag in a song I like, start cutting it and from there it can go anywhere - to YouTube with thousands of hits, or to my recycle bin with yea, no hits.

How many hours do you put in for your movies  and graphic designing?
Way too many. Increased Value took me half a year to record, develop and produce. It's not that I'm lacking motivation, I just can't get satisfied with my own stuff.

List down some of your favorite movie makers  and graphic designers.
Oh well, talking about CS:S editors or gameplay editors in general, I really like FGW from InfProd. He has been doing his thing ever since I saw his first clip - yet he never disappoints. Quality stuff indeed.

Where can readers view your films  and graphic designs and learn more about you?
My YouTube, my facebook or my flickr.
http://www.youtube.com/user/koopzable
http://www.facebook.com/koopzable
http://www.flickr.com/photos/oliverthorsen

Editing softwares?
Sony vegas pro 7, adobe after effects cs5.5, adobe illustrator cs5.5, adobe photoshop, FL studio 9, adobe photoshop cs2(oldschool, actually its the exact same copy as I started with - 4 years ago), Autodesk Lustre & Maxon Cinema4D

Favorite music genre?
Dubstep, the garage way. No wobbly bass that makes your brain cells shatter, nice and chillful tunes.

What are your further plans?
Business school/gymnasium, international film school and then we'll see whats going to turn out.

Will you edit other gaming movies in future like BF3, COD etc?
Might do, haven't planned anything.

Is movie making  and graphic designing your primary source of income?
It's my only income.

What do you like more 2D or 3D?
2D, vintage style.

You have won many competitions in movie making, you may have many haters as well, what would you like to say to them?
Make love and the world will follow.

What motivates you the most?
The ability to visualize thoughts and inner pieces of yourself that normally wouldn't be shown to other people.

Who would you like to credit for all your success?
My mum, my stepdad, my many friends and every single piece of inspiration I've got.

Do check out his channel and his facebook page. Thank you koopz for the webterview.
